“Good afternoon passengers and welcome onboard the Starnator spacecraft, this is your captain speaking. We just received the final “Go” from ground control and the countdown has just resumed at T-9 minutes. In a couple of minutes the access arm will be retracted, and we will perform the aerosurface profile test, followed by the main engine gimbal test. During this phase it is perfectly normal to hear noises or vibrations coming from the vessel. While the copilot and I take care of these procedures, I kindly ask you to follow the safety instructions from the crew. They will tell you when to close and lock your visors and assist you during the whole liftoff. I'll talk to you again when we leave the earth's atmosphere in about 18 minutes from now.
